As always, we are in a never-ending battle with the elements. In a few hours, we have a flight scheduled to Paris and that’s when Toronto gets hit by two ice storms back to back. The only silver lining: awesome opportunity for photo junkies. We headed out onto the skating rink, braved the cold and snapped some shots. Interestingly, we figured out why Sub-Zero’s Fatality was so effective. Turns out branches snap so easily when frozen out and we saw a tree collapse under its own weight.
Regarding our trip, we will be trying to document thoroughly what we are going to be up to. Audrey is going to have a first attempt at video editing and I will keep snapping away. We will post a link to our YouTube channel in the next post.
In the meantime, stay warm Toronto.
We made 2 new friends today: Jake and Noah. These kids have so much energy. Below is a sneak peek of our session with them.
It has been an awesome couple of weekends for us. We had the opportunity to work with different families and had an amazing experience shooting infants and toddlers. Bottom line, nothing goes as planned. Just have to dive in and think outside the box. This wraps us 2013 for us, it’s now time to work on things that have been “neglected” for a while now: designing our website and venturing back to good old film photography.
All in all, we both have had quite the busy and stressful year in terms of our academic lives. We somehow managed to keep our passion for photography alive while trying to finish our Masters programs. Also, we are really excited for our trip back to the Motherland (Mauritius) at the end of the year, stay tuned for our future updates.
Get your photography fix on!

We were definitely lucky today. The weather forecast called for rain throughout the day but we were able to get almost one hour of clearing to squeeze in a family photoshoot.
The intense 100+ km/h winds we experienced yesterday definitely helped to set that fall mood we were looking for, leaving all the trees bare and the ground all colorful.
Here are a few pictures we took. Little baby James has grown so much since we saw him last year.

Last December we ventured into baby and family portraiture and loved the experience. As such, we were delighted to be given the chance to work with one our first family clients again, last weekend. We were shocked when we saw the youngest member of the family! Last we saw him, he was just a few days old…and he’s since gotten so big!
Here are some of the photos we got. 🙂
It’s been a quite some time since our last post! We have been extremely busy with school. It’s been crazy weeks of focusing on studying and prepping for oral exams or practical exams. Nevertheless, we were able to squeeze in 2 lovely family shoots last weekend.
For our first shoot, we had the pleasure of working with this super active and lively family! Here are a few pictures we captured around their home. 🙂
Here are some pictures of our latest wedding shoot. Congratulations to the newlyweds Sabrina and John.
Could not have asked for better weather. It was a very seasonal conditions amidst the heat waves and the cold fronts.

We were very excited to spend the day with our dearest friends Yolanda and Nick. Here is a sneak peek to their pre-wedding shoot.
On a side note, we recently went back to the roots, shoot film. We got our hands on a Pentax K1000 and a Leica R3. We are looking forward to get those rolls developed!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything, but it’s because we’ve been extremely busy with school!
A few weeks ago, however, we’ve been able to squeeze in a styled bridal and editorial shoot with our friend Vanessa and our friend makeup artist Amber.
Here are a few pictures of the shoot! We loved how the makeup, hair, outfit and location all came together nicely.
Here are a few pictures of our friend Jen’s beautiful wedding! It was an honour to be part of her and Dave’s special day yesterday. 🙂
Here is a sneak peek of Jessica and Jason’s wedding that took place yesterday. We wanted to congratulate you both again on your special day!
And we continue editing away.. 🙂
